I had such a great experience at HCR VI.  The rides, the new friends, the scenery, all was wonderful.  I had never been around many "bikers" before this.  The VROCers and the other bikers I have met recently are a great bunch of people - always friendly, helpful, and respectful.  (OK, almost always.)  I've noticed that about 90% of the riders I pass on the rode will wave to me.  Also, each time I have been stopped on the side of the rode, a biker has stopped to help or ask if I was alright.  All in all, I'm very impressed with this species!  I really understand the motto now:  Live to ride, ride to live!
